Nope. And it doesn't even work when compiled. Yet.

fgcom on Mac

Postby tat » Mon Jan 28, 2008 3:55 pm

It will probably be possible when I'm done with some test on fgcom.
I successfully built it and am about to try it. If it runs quite stable, I'll be thinking about adding it to a launcher update package in the near future.

If you want to try it, I'll post it to macflightgear website when the test is done. So be patient for now, please.

Best

fgcom early test version for Mac OS

Postby tat » Sat Feb 02, 2008 8:17 pm

Here's an early test version:
http://macflightgear.sourceforge.net/wp ... ads/fgcom/
You need to extract the tar.gz file at /Applications/FlightGear.app/Contents/Resources

There's no GUI support for this, so you need to run it from Terminal.app at its folder.

Note that this is a very early test. Read the following URL how to use this:
http://squonk.abacab.org/dokuwiki/fgcom

No supports on this so use it with your own risk. Feedbacks are always welcome.

fgcom integration on Mac OS X - request for test

Postby tat » Thu Feb 07, 2008 4:11 am

Hi,

I've testing two new features for GUI launcher on Mac OS X - fgcom integration and favorite list.
Fgcom integration provides the automatic fgcom launch on multi player mode when user name and password are specified.
The favorite list enables users to preserve and restore a named set of available options just like a book mark of web browser.

The release candidate for GUI launcher updater is available from:
http://macflightgear.sourceforge.net/wp ... uncher.dmg

Please give it a try and send me some feedbacks!

Thank you very much,

Tat

p.s.
fgcom requires an account, press "Get Account" button from Advanced Features >> Network tab and follow the brief instruction.

Thank You Tat ! The new Launcher works great and is much better than I could have imagined - well done!

I don't fly in Multiplayer so I haven't tried fgcom.
