How to access Phi from my smartphone

I'm new here, so please apologize if I ask stupid questions.
I'm looking for a tutorial how to access the Phi interface through my home network. I scanned through the topics but couldn't find anything.

Thanks for your help,

1- Discover the IP address of your computer.

- On windows: in the task bar, left click on connections -> properties of the connected network -> IPv4 address. It must be an address similar to this one: (most probably, the last number is different)
- On Linux: use a similar approach checking NetworkManager properties in the task bar, or run ip a

Most probably, this address won't change for weeks, but checking it from time to time is a good idea. You can assign a static address to your computer in your router settings, if you want to.

2- Run FlightGear with the additional setting --httpd=8080 You can set additional settings at the end of the "settings" tab of the FlightGear launcher

3- Check you can connect using a browser from your computer: Use the address the address you discovered during the first step and the port of the second step!

You should see the generic Phi interface.

In case the aircraft provides custom webpanels (the C172P does), visit, ... panel.html or something similar.

4- If you can connect correctly from your computer, visit the same address from your smartphone. The computer and the smartphone must be connected to the same network!

Also note that the computer may have a firewall running that limits network access to local connections (i.e., from the same machine) only.
