no start,just installed

Need help getting up and running? Installing FlightGear, add-on planes, sceneries etc.

- what FlightGear version do you use?
- what graphics card do you have?

i have been using both fs2004 and combat fs2 for 10 yrs on both laptop and computer..Both are xp..Have no idea on how to find out video card, Get notice when try to turn on, fg2018.2/bin/fgfs/exc is not valid win 32 application ....I can go and look at all the pdf files..Get this with either card in slot or no card..Not computer wizard,, but do know how to turn it on...Being a senior all kids gone to help...Thanks..

on windows, you would check in the device manager tree to see what the video card is... however, i believe your main problem is that XP is EOL and no longer supported... as such, newer programs are not compiled for XP so they simply cannot run...
