I checked some benchmarks and K1200 is not as good as K2000. Both cards was MXM. But gaming card will be better choice, same power with much lower price.

A link to the benchmarks would be great! How does one connect three monitors to that card? How do you have your three monitors connected to your card?

I did a bit of research, and maybe a bit more is in order. It appears you may be correct about the graphics card differences. It isn't just the memory and cores, but how they are allocated.

It appears some cards are more accurate mathematically for CAD/CAM, and others provide more realistic game displays.

Thanks for your input. :)

Edit: If anybody has a recommendation on a low profile gaming video card that has a power supply requirement of around 50 watts and less than $500, I would be very grateful. I'm currently limited by a 250 watt power supply and low profile. I'm now considering upgrading my computer to a more powerful unit.

The Nividia 730 is rated at 38W and is available pretty cheaply.

The 940MX is rated at 23W, not sure if it works though since its a mobile (ie laptop) GPU. i use a 920MX and it works very well (except with geometry shader - ie overlay + urban shaders in FG). Everything else works great.

The 730 is roughly equivalent in power to 920 by the looks of it.
