FlightGear crashes during launch

Postby Krizzlybaer » Sat May 12, 2018 7:50 pm

Hey folks, I might need your help.
I installed FlightGear 1.1 today but I can't get it "off the ground" at all ;)
It crashes right on the first loading screen

I am using Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit
FlightGear 1.1
Nvidia GeForce 330

The crashreport says:

Can someone help me with this?
Thanks for your help in advance!

according to what you did post, you installed 2018.1.1... please use all of the version number when posting problems... it is important because now there have been at least three "1.1" versions but for different years...

please click on your start button, type %APPDATA% into the search field and hit enter... a directory window should open up... in there, find the flightgear directory and open it... then find the fgfs.log file... post it somewhere like pastebin and give us a link to it so we can see what the sim logged...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

sadly, i cannot tell from the log parts available... someone on the dev team with winwhatever experience will have to take a look...

you can remove that nav cache, too... it is a sql database and won't help in this case... i'd remove it from my dropbox as well as editing my post to remove it there...
