I upgraded my system to Ubuntu 16.10 this week, at which time Flightgear promptly stopped working (began to complain of missing base data packages). I cleaned my system of anything Flightgear, and went to re-install from the Saikrishna Arcot PPA. This attempted install runs into the following issue when running apt install:
- Code: Select all
Unpacking flightgear-phi (2016.2.1+dfsg2-2) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-k2I8CZ/17-flightgear-phi_2016.2.1+dfsg2-2_all.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/games/flightgear/Phi/3rdparty/clockpicker/jquery-clockpicker.min.css', which is also in package flightgear-data-base 1:2016.3.1+dfsg-0ubuntu1~ppa1
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Using apt install -f made no difference, and I'm at a bit of a loss for what direction to head next for the solution.
Any ideas?
