Pipistrel Hangar

Postby Nick R » Fri Feb 14, 2014 6:43 pm

I just recently created a website after taking an html and css course. Here it is fgpipistrel.org.
Any Ideas of what I should add to it?

There is an odd bug affecting me that have me click the buttons twice and if those images are not yours you might want to add a byline/attribution, but otherwise it looks good. :D

PS. You can add a link to it in your signature. ;)

Ok what browser are you using? I've only tested it in firefox so far and there the buttons work fine although I know I'll probably need to add more lines in the style sheet for it to work properly in all browsers.

And about the signature I don't find any option in the control panel to add a signature. Although I found the option to enable it.

 I have an Opera that is so old that most parents would go to the doctor if their kids will not be able to speak by that age.

I did a test on http://browsersnaps.tk/ to see how my website was compatible with the different popular browsers. You should check the results here.

Looks like I'll have to get back to work.

Update:
Here's newer test where I used all the latest versions of browsers available on browsersnaps.tk and with some updates to the style sheet.

Internet Explorer 8 is still the underdog.

8) After searching around for quite I while I found out how to fix a lot of IE's problems. All I needed to do was add <!DOCTYPE html> to the pages. How foolish of me. Well at least I learned something :)
See the difference here.

P.s. The background gradient doesn't seam to work yeat in IE8 and Safari.

I think I fixed that now, not sure though.

If anybody finds anymore problems on the page feel free to let me know.

fgpipistrel.linuxd.net is currently down for maintenance. It will probably be down for 24 hours.

I just did a major overhaul on the website. It's now mobile compatible. And also I changed the title of the website. Check it out. If you find any bugs let me know.

Very nice. I am using the latest version of Safari for Mac and I can see the background gradient.

Bookmarked :-)
