Sorry for the prolonged absence, chaps. I was off visiting relatives in Cambridge. It's always good to see that progress is being made, though!

Bump. Windows aligned with the livery, which took more time than I expected. Next would indeed be a cabin and after that I could use some help properly texturing the model since (my version of) ac3d (which is quite old) doesn't allow different sections of the same mesh to be textured with different parts of the texture file.

I'll develop the F100 to a degree that I'm happy with, then I'd like to try something else. I have been contemplating making a cockpit for Isix' 707-400 as my next project.

Hohow! Great sounds! The 707 is a classic and must have a good cockpit. I´ve something modelled here... not finished. There are a updated version to 704 (and 703), PM if you want to test

Ooh! Yes please! The reason I haven't been doing any work on the 707-400 yet is because I could not use it. There is an error with the sound. :(

Now that this topic is back on top a small status update; the XF100 in git now has a untextured cabin with textured rows of seats. Work on it is a bit slow because of work but I'm getting there.

What kind of error, Tom? Maybe is better to create a post for 707-400.

Sounds like a good idea to me. The error occurs when I apply more than 70% power. There is a sound file that FG claims it cannot locate, although it is there. Odd. :(

The design of the (now called) Fokker-120NG with PW GTF engines starts to get in a final stage:

Seems I have some redesigning to do :)

Good! Looking forward to it. :D

The current Fokker 100 is sooooo outdated (both in FG and in RL)

Cheers,
Sam.

Hi there erik,

I was wondering if you could update the FDM of the Fokker 100. I like this plane. It has a nice model, nice cockpit etc. But when the plane is going to land, it is very unrealistic. U will never know when the landing gears touch the ground and it seem that the landing gear contact with the ground was not configured correctly. However i would like to see this aircraft developing very good :D .

Thanks

I could take an extra look at it while I'm at it but note that it is modeled with the most accurate data I could find (which is very sparse). The wings for instance create much more lift than most commercial airliners and it is often not even required to use flaps for take-off.

Thinking about it, maybe the aircraft is modeled too light though (or even without passengers). Have to look at it.
