Boeing 747-400

Postby Bonjitomj » Mon Jun 14, 2010 6:41 am

Since now the Boeing 747-400 is rolling out into the skies. I think we need to have more liveries for the new 747-400 by Gijs.
Here are the basic liveries:
Virgin atlantic,
Singapore airlines,
Japan airlines (JAL)
All Nippons Airways, ANA
Air France
British Airways
Korean air
United airlines (both old, and new)
Asiana Airlines
Eva airlines
PIA airlines
China Airlines.
These are the airlines that I can think of right now, operates the 747-400. I talked to Gijs and got the allowance to paint the Delta and NWA liveries so you don't have to worry about them.

So is this the green light to make liveries for 747-400 or is this still on a limited basis till the paint kit is finished?

Well, you are free to start working on liveries. However, make sure that you save your work in the GIMP (or another layers) format, so we can easily shuffle it around when I change minor things in the mapping/shadowing/windows. Therefore, please send the liveries to me first so I can check them, without relasing them en public.

You can download the paintkit file from http://liveries.flightgear.org/aircraft.php?id=1

Yes. As long as the layers stay intact/seperated ;)

That might be a problem with the transition from GIMP to Photoshop... But if you just give me additional layers in the future I can always just add them on.
