Giant Marshmallow Man for FlightGear, v0.01

Postby richter » Thu Jul 08, 2010 9:25 am

Folks,
I have developed a giant marshmallow man model add-on for FlightGear. It will allow you to deploy a marshmallow man approximately 20,000ft tall, and 10nm wide, from the B-1B weapon bay. It is designed to be installed within a certain derivative version of the FlightGear B-1B package.

Image

It can be downloaded here.

In the interest of protecting the sensibilities of all members of this forum, I will post the following disclaimer:

The marshmallow man on which this model is based is currently classified as a Wonderful Marshmallowy Delicacy (WMD). If you are offended in any way by marshmallow men, or the effects on living creatures caused by an 80 million ton column of puffy sugar, you are STRONGLY ADVISED NOT TO DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL THIS PACKAGE. I REPEAT, IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY MARSHMALLOWS, PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL THIS PACKAGE.

Minimal attempt has been made to recreate the effects of a gigantic marshmallow man on surrounding life, namely, suffocation by plugged breathing orifices, excessive blood sugar levels leading to dangerous sugar buzzes, allergic reactions, and busted gut from mirthful laughter.

--end of disclaimer--

Please note that no serious attempt has been made to actually launch the marshmallow man from the FlightGear B-1B. One look at those horribly complicated controls and instructions made me give up. Try it at your own risk.

This package is released under GNU GPL v2. If there is user interest in this package, I may work on Fat Tire Man and Little Dough Boy.

Have fun!

Out of curiosity- how can that marshmallow man be sliced and grilled for barbecue? Is that what the nuke is for?
Has such a marshmellow man been succesfully deployed by US (United Sugar) forces in the past?
Can someone please model brushes and tooth paste to be deployed as a countermeasures from eg. the Catalina?
Is the 1-900-GHOSTBUSTERS number still alive?

Well there is a lot of things to clarify.

BTW this marshmellow man definetely offends the chamber of dentists and oral surgeries. Get away with it. Now.

:P

Can we please make him eat nuclear bombs?
And I am interested in working on a marshmallow man FART EFFECT, to bring down bombers - possibly using the particle system!
Maybe we could even make it fart pink baby poo all over bombers flying in its vicinity, that turns into WILDFIRE? :-)

By the way, I vote for including this in the official package!!

PS: Hilarious way to deal with such issues!
PPS: I am really glad you made him wear panties!

No, I want to see the complete eye-candy :)
BTW is that a male or a female marshmellow (wo)man?
It is sweet enough to be female...

Oh no, I am extremely offended by this. Once, I knew this guy who choked and died from eating a marshmallow. Can you please remove this? It offends me.

Anders, balloons right? What about holding an annual Macy's Parade on New Years, we can vote on some where in the world and each show up as Snoopy and The Green Giant, and...
hehe, this is so very cool, the Marchmellowman.

'Ya call me 'mellow-yellow-- quite right!"
