Hi Ainlina,

I think you will always be unable to unload from that site unless you pay to become a member. As far as I am concerned, the main FG aircraft download page is not working at the moment. I think you will have to make do with the package download aircraft until that gets fixed.

p.s. Like you, I am based at EGKA and on an iMac using OS X 10.5.8

Weird. The download page works for me, and I downloaded it successfully a while ago via iespana, but lost it when I updated FG (I've searched everything, even the Trash). I'll e-mail them about it. Thanks for the help.

It seems that Flightgear has quite a following in Sussex amongst Mac users ;)

Hi Alex,

If I were a better flyer, I might suggest we organised a local event on MP. As it is, I spend more time modeling than flying.

Cheers,
Vic

Interesting. I often show FG to friends.

I've found it on UnitedFreeWorld, but when I download it, FlightGear says "invalid file or folder", and when I try to unzip it, the Archive Utility says "Error 1: Operation not permitted". I have tried with Safari & Firefox DownThemAll, and Safari's Downloads window says "Decompression failed". Does anyone know how to fix it, or should I e-mail UnitedFreeWorld?

No, I don’t know how to fix corrupted files. Sounds dangerous. And yes, you should send an e-mail to this corrupted free world ;-)

Cheers- gral

BTW. UnitedFreeWorld is not an official FG repository and maybe they have own forum too? And I think this is probably not a Mac Installation issue?
