and a wonderful program :)

Two, not really significant thingies:
- case sensitive airport input - is it necessary ?
- on the first run program did not see the paths entered, it was a-ok on the second run, and further.
Win XP SP3,
java version "1.6.0_17"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_17-b04)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 14.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing)

I recently updated my Java runtime from 1.6.0.07 to 1.6.0.22 and now the airportPainter.jar no longer outputs any airport diagrams. I get a message above the progress bar that says "ERROR: Airport not found". I haven't touched the config or changed any of the paths. It worked fine under JRE 1.6.0.07. Maybe an update to the program is necessary to run under JRE 1.6.0.22???

Is this available anywhere? It seems the links are dead again (and possibly have been for a while)

First of all, I like this one. :) This is really easy to use and that both console/GUI support is added, is very nice.

Now I have a small possible issue found: Generating the PDFfor EDDF with shared objects on both first and map side results in unreadable values on second page (navigation radios around EDDF). Can you please take a look at it? I used xpdf and evince (both default programs with many Linux distros).

Used JDK is:
Code: Select all
java version "1.6.0_18"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.8.7) (6b18-1.8.7-2)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 16.0-b13, mixed mode)

I was trying to reproduce your problem, I downloaded again sceneries for the EDDF zone and launched the generation, well no pylons or objects in the map !
So I checked and I saw that it searches objects in e7n40 etc, while I have folders in a format like e007n40 etc...

I wonder if it is a new change in the sceneries folder structure or I am missing something...

Hi, I am currently back on my sit to put some new feature for the Airport Diagram Generator... it is a just a work in progress, but I managed to insert the landscape into the 2° page of the diagrams.... I think an image can explain it much better as I can do :D
Image

as I said it is just a work in progress, the white area are happening just because I have to decide the appropriate color for their type of material.
Colors are a little to strong now, I will make them much much softer in the near future.

btw, I am writeing here because I would like to receive some suggestion before going on coding....

I plan to release the new version by the end of the month hopefully.

cheers
