Terragear has to be setup to use the prefetch button, but the difference with "ordinary" Terragear is that it downloads the scenery before you fly, instead of whil you fly.

I think you (both) mean Terra_Sync_, right ?

...well the SCENERY loads for me. Just the AIRPORT MODEL doesn't... Models have loaded for LAX and JFK so far...

Is it something about the limited content of the TerraSync database?
Look for "B-BIRD" "N127KY" or "AVA0004" -that's me.

Please visit RPLL (use TerraSync, make sure to have Shared Models installed) and decide to which category it applies - courtesy of Mike Nieber,

Hi kyokoyama,
1. Have you installed the SharedModels file?
2. Have you installed the GlobalObjects file?
3. Do you know if there are models at your required airport? It is possible that they have not been made yet. If not, this could be your opportunity to contribute.
.....anyone gonna answer this?
Try to be patient. Not everyone is on the forums all the time. Plus - when someone makes a suggestion they do like some feedback about what you have tried.
Is it something about the limited content of the TerraSync database?

Where does this question come from? :? There are many contributors to the scenery database who could be offended by a remark like this.

Vic
p.s. BTW your query really belongs in the 'General' section.

Oh... ...but the list on the first post says that RJTT is modeled...?
I meant limited by what TerraSync has in its archive... I know there should be more good models, but...
SharedModels and GlobalObjects? What are those...?

Sorry for the offense

Again, RJTT shows up in the scenery model database and should work in FlightGear. If it doesn't, I'll remove it from this list, but there are models in the database.

SharedModels and GlobalObjects? What are those...?

You should have downloaded and installed these when you downloaded the basic package. Having these installed will solve your problem.

They are all the scenery bits and pieces which occur time and time again. The .stg files tell FG where to place common models etc, but in your case, there are no models to place in your computer.

I suggest you go back to the installation instructions and start again.

I hope that sorts out your problem.

Cheers,
Vic

RJSA - I have used some shared models and cobbled them together to form a rough resemblance of the place.

Oh, so Aomori is modeled and not Haneda or Narita?
