Wow, not a whole lot of time to play with it, but that is really cool. Still a ways to go, it's just not the resolution you would wish for, but not bad.
There is one thing I noticed though because of the 3-dimentional aspects. The ai they are using to figure out the terrain from the ortho layer is unbelievable. Specifically, I noticed when flying over terrain I am intimately familiar with that it is actually doing a outstanding job of placing trees in the correct locations. Not only that, it changes the size according to what it is seeing. How it does this is crazy. There are areas I hunt that have different aged trees in spots, older forests and younger tree rows. Well this program for the most part gets it right. Unbelievable if you ask me. I didn't notice it until I saw it in VR.
