Today i made the second leg of my mumble test, unfortunately alone.
Well, it was a nice flight, but the landscape and weather was not as interesting as in the previous trip.
The flight from La Gomera to Gran Canaria led me around Teneriffe with its beautiful cliffs. I did again spot some birds flying. The navigation using ADF and VOR radials really did help in crossing the water areas.
When i arrived at gran Canaria, the weather on the west side was good, however the airport was covered in rain showers. Thus, i already expected an ILS approach, but i could divert to a smaller airfield (which was not on the atlas) a little west of GCLP, ICAO GCLB. There was a cart racing track there
I had 060@12 knots wind there which was not that easy to land (the maximum for the C182S is 15 knots! EDIT now, half an hour later we are at 14 knots. i was lucky it seems!).
The taxiway nearly killed me (the lines broke my wheels), so there is a scenery bug at that place.
Total Flight time was about 1:45, including preflight and getting frequencies of the navaids it took about 2:00.
I think i will do the next and probably last leg (maybe i divide it into two) brings us from Gran Canaria (GCLB, Ramp_3) east via Fuertaventura to Lanzarote (GCRR) which will take about 1:30 flight time.
Most probably it will again occur next Friday, 19:00 UTC.
