it asked its server what the current version is and compare it to its own...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

OK, new ACCONFIG V2.0 backend is now in master
Please let me know if you expirience issues with any of the following:
- Panel state loading
- Saved/Loading of Setting
- Aircraft initialization
- Random error messages
Biggest thing you will probably notice is that the panel states load WAY faster than before!
And, changing state between before certain states won't re-do things unnesessarily, for example, won't shut down the engines only to restart them again if you went from taxi to takeoff.
The next step will be to redo the GUI (Canvas!)

I don't going to explain all the backend improvements because really its not so important for the pilots, mostly just for ease of future development and such, as well as better integration with IntegratedSystems design.

Kind Regards,
Josh

In my case, it depends on the view. Panel views (2-5) can achieve 40 fps, default view (1) or central view (6) is about 20, but external view hardly ever exceeds 5 fps. I have all rendering options at the maximum.

The 3D model is pretty heavy for some reason. CaptB already de-heavy-ified it a bit.

On my GTX780 machine and GTX1060MaxQ laptop I get solid 60FPS inside and out. On my older GT230M laptop I have this same problem. Inside fine, outside SHIT.

Also,

I made an A/P dialog in Canvas. What you guys think? I want to replace the messey PUI dialog with this.

Josh

Thanks!

Its now in git but not default yet. For now you can access it from the AFS/FMS menu if you want to test.
Also gonna look into a GPL V2 compatible 7segment font. 99% sure thers on in fgdata, just have to get my fontmapper to map it onto those elements.

the ap dialog looks nice i just hope its not too confusing

for some reason that other md-11 by jormapaappa1235,tikibar and it0uchpods runs far worse for me than the idg md-11
i had to turn down the graphics with another plane then i could use the md-11 by jormapaappa1235,tikibar and it0uchpods
so i'm glad i found the idg md-11

This MD-11 is a far upgraded version of that aircraft totally rewritten FDM, Systems and new Cockpit Displays.

The Dialog works exactly like the virtual cockpit controls. Same mouse commands.

Left Click = Push Knob
Middle Click = Pull Knob
SHIFT + Left Click = Pull Knob

Scroll wheel = Adjust knob value
SHIFT + Scroll wheel = Adjust knob value faster

Left click buttons to press them
