Thanks Josh, I was just getting ready to put a BIG THANK YOU to you for the autopilot work but you beat me to the punch.
It is really nice. Thanks again!

FYI:
Cleaned up the FG1000 panel version for both the J3Cub and PA-18 in SVN (fgaddon) as well as the git master branch.
Fixed the IT-STEC55x HDG Bug issue, thanks again Josh.

More changes and cleanup. There were a few bugs related to effects and the autopilot electrical plus other misc minor bugs.
Note, the Cub was never intended to have autopilot. But a byproduct of adding it to the SuperCub removes the "default" autopilot and adds the STEC55X to the GUI. It can be used with the Cub if you control key properties using the property tree. Properties needed for control would include Autopilot pwr (on/off) switch, heading bug, electric trim. So don't expect an out of the box autopilot for the Cub. They typically don't have autopilots installed. Not so with the SuperCub.

Wayne, I've been considering adding that stuff to the dialog anyways. What do you think?

Kind Regards,

Yeah, I'd say go for it. The GUI can only be used if you have the PWR and other, so I'm for it especially in my case where it is to take place of the default.

Here is how the FG1000 in the SuperCub turned out.
Image
As you can see, it is larger than before due to moving the switches to the same line as the breakers.

i'm used to updating from sourgeforge this plane but:

svn: E155009: Failed to run the WC DB work queue associated with '/media/attila/back_up/flightgear/J3Cub/Models/Interior/stec-55x', work item 11 (file-install Models/Interior/stec-55x/aux.jpg 1 0 1 1)
svn: E000022: Impossibile spostare '/media/attila/back_up/flightgear/J3Cub/.svn/tmp/svn-FI6chf' in '/media/attila/back_up/flightgear/J3Cub/Models/Interior/stec-55x/aux.jpg': Argomento non valido

A "snv cleanup" doesn't solve:

svn: E155009: Failed to run the WC DB work queue associated with '/media/attila/back_up/flightgear/J3Cub', work item 11 (file-install Models/Interior/stec-55x/aux.jpg 1 0 1 1)
svn: E000022: Impossibile spostare '/media/attila/back_up/flightgear/J3Cub/.svn/tmp/svn-wjbBkp' in '/media/attila/back_up/flightgear/J3Cub/Models/Interior/stec-55x/aux.jpg': Argomento non valido

Tried to redownload from scratch but nothing.

Unfortunately SVN is not my friend and I know only enough to push changes. I really can't help diagnose your trouble. I do recognize the file, it is a newer texture file that it appears to be causing the issue.

After reading about your error, it does suggest just pulling a new copy. I tried it just now and had no issue pulling a new copy.

One more addition. I inadvertently removed the FG1000 autopilot module (by commenting it out) awhile back, so I added it back in. The FG1000 autopilot is functional now. I still need to activate the engine section by writing a custom GenericEISPublisher but need Stuart's help for that.

I think all you need to do is pull a new copy. I am able to push/pull and I just verified I can pull a new copy using the following without issue.

Code: Select all
svn checkout --username=YOURUSERNAME https://svn.code.sf.net/p/flightgear/fgaddon/trunk/Aircraft/J3Cub J3Cub

Please try to pull a new copy and let me know if that works .

Nope i get the same error.

I'm downloading the zip but when i extract it i get an error. The zip passes the integrity control, this is the error:

Archive: /media/attila/back_up/flightgear-fgaddon-r4975-trunk-Aircraft-J3Cub.zip
error: cannot create /media/attila/back_up/flightgear/flightgear-fgaddon-r4975-trunk-Aircraft-J3Cub/Models/Interior/stec-55x/aux.jpg

what tool are you using to test and unarchive that zip?

what is the link you're using to pull that zip? i ask because i just pulled the snapshot from SF and got r3717... possibly i need to switch branches and then pull? i went back and found r4975 which i'm downloading now...

[time passes]

extracted using Ark with no problem... could you have leftovers in your directory that are causing problems? have you tried getting a new copy of the zip? i'd delete the old zip you have and the directories you extracted from it and try extracting it to a clean tree...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
