Which OS are you using?
So far, I believe my uploaded file should run under windows unless your browser failed to download the file.
I would appreciate if anyone can test this file.
In my Windows XP machine, this works as follow:

Although I haven't used Vista machine,
post from Vista user also suggests that js_demo.exe included in FlightGear 1.0.0 should run under Vista machine.
If you are using Vista, I suppose one possible reason is User Account Control (UAC) in Vista.
Please google "UAC Vista" in your language and know what it means.
