Just saw an amazing video on Reddit (courtesy of Rudolf who passed on the link) of an Air Crane in action as a firefighter:

I can't figure out how to post the direct link to the video, so here is the link :

Wow, how many years of flying does it take to be able to judge a drop like that? That is remarkable.

Indeed. I have seen that clip pop up now and then, but it still never fails to amaze me. 8)

Pushed some changes to the compaddon branch on GitHub. Fixed a few panel and switch material settings. Added a couple more CWS light logic's. Switch from interior shadow cube (model-interior) to compositor real-time interior shadows for testing purposes.

Adding more overhead panel switches and knobs. The new additions are currently not activated.

Thanks

A couple more panel clusters.
I'm anxious to hook up the cable shear system.

Refactored texture paths and location of interior files. Also pushed all the new panel groups I've been working on. It was a considerable amount of work. Please let me know if I messed anything up.

i'm curious if you've been able to get armchair99 into the craft and see how it handles compared to the real thing he flies IRL...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Unfortunately that probably wont happen. I actually mentioned something to that effect to him and I got the distinct impression he was not computer literate, at the least in a "gaming" sense.
I was hoping that would be another benefit of contacting him.

Please double the UVmapping of the floor. The structure is way to big.
All other thinks are very nice modeled and textured.

It's actually not even the correct texture. But it best matches the size and spacing of the correct texture pattern according to this images I was referencing.
