hey there, sorry for barging in but I have experience with the PMDG ngx and I couldn't help but notice the lack of detail in the cockpit.
Although I'm starting to get the hang of blender I thought I might try and missing details to the cockpit.

So, Since the new flightgear update, 2019.1.1, the Boeing 737YV has been messed up. The flightdeck screens are off, even when I auto start the aircraft. I can click on them and they show up in the window, but they don't do anything. The autopilot is also off in the flightdeck so I cant use it there. And in the autopilot menu, the autopilot wont do anything either. Literally nothing works. The only thing I can do is hand-fly the aircraft without instruments. PLEASE HELP!

*edit Problem was resolved after I updated to fg 2019.2.0

Bumping the thread to let you know that I recently submitted a batch of changes to the 737-800YV main repo, although most of them are internal changes difficult to notice, the full list of changes is in the PR description at https://github.com/YV3399/737-800YV/pull/85.

If someone gives it a try and finds a problem please let me know in this thread.

It's absolutely brilliant!

Here are a couple of long lasting dreams:

Is there a TOGA keyboard shortcut? In one earlier version ISTR 'd' used.

The 737-300 has a nice copilot announcing landing speeds, could this be implemented?
Also James Turner has made som nice hacks to the FMC.

I shall do some more testing and will report any flaws I encounter.

Do you refer to my changes in the message above yours? I added a keyboard shorcut `m` for full throttle. It's not exactly the same as TOGA I guess. Can you explain what would be the difference in the 737-800 with TOGA?

A big disadvantage here are the poorly made knobs and the cockpit

Feel free to improve them. Gabriel, the guy who maintains the -YV repos, is friendly and usually quick on the merge button.

I will try.
The Soitanen 737-300 Classic (based on ealier work) contains the following keybinding in the -set-file:
Code: Select all
 <key n="100">
        <name>d</name>
        <desc>TOGA button</desc>
        <binding>
          <command>nasal</command>
          <script>autopilot737.toga_button();</script>
        </binding>
      </key>

    </keyboard>

Shouldn't be difficult to add to the 800. The autopilot implementation is different AFAIK, so you need to figure out which property to set to enable TOGA, but other than that, you can mostly copy-paste that keybinding.

Since the last update, the aircraft itself Stall and turns.
Ideas for new features:
Smooth-running steering column (as in 777)
Improved with the IAS knob on the autopilot panel
Improving the radio panel
Improving the quality of the Overhead panel
There is a gap between the glass and the cockpit ceiling, 3d model error
The steering column should be brighter
I have no idea what to call it, but this "steering wheel" that controls the front wheel should work, as in 777
Correct the engine fire
