It seems you will need to use the standard keyboard wheel/paring brake keys: [ Shift ]+[ S ] [ Shift ]+[ B ] to release and [ S ] to apply. And [ B ] for regular brakes. You should get a help dialog if you press [ ? ].

In the CRJ the hotkey is Shift-B to release and apply parking brakes. Check the right EICAS display on the "STAT" page, parking brake is shown as a message when applied.

I'm afraid the handle isn't modeled in the 3d-cockpit. It should be on the lower pedestal, bottom left corner. Pull and turn handle to release/apply.
