Extra 500 - PFD doesn't display airspeed or altitude

Postby dsmolen » Sat Mar 21, 2020 6:16 pm

Flightgear 2019.1
Windows 10
Extra 500 5.2.0

Engine starts with autostart but when plane moves neither the airspeed or altitude changes on the left-hand IFD PFD page. The right-hand IFD-PFD and backup displays work correctly.

After reinstalling, both PFDs incorrectly show a heading of 340 and ground speed of 340.

Thanks for any help.

Hi dsmolen,

I could not reproduce this issue here.
But make sure you stay stationary even after the autostart because the warm-up/initialization of the IFD-s actually takes longer.
You can speed it up by going to the Extra500 - configuration dialog and set the IFD realism to fast.

Sorry for the late response
