Hello together, now I´m totally confused.
Please tell me step by step which file is necessary to download, unzip and put in which folder to use the airport. I´m flying with Windows10. Thanks in advance and kind regards.

You need D-ECHO's files for the scenery (airport and terrain)
You need my file for the navaids like VOR and ILS.

Until the database is updated, you must put these files in your "Additional Scenery" folder. To find that:
Open the FG launcher.
Select "Add-Ons"
There is an entry there for "Additional Scenery".
In that folder, ensure there are 5 folders: "Airports" "Materials" , "NavData", "Objects", and "Terrain". If not there, create it.
In "NavData", create three folders: "apt", "nav", and "fix".
Put D-ECHO's files into the folders indicated by the names.
Put my file in "NavData/nav/".

Start FG. It should rebuild your local scenery pack.
Done.

Edit: Don't get the two LTFM.dat files confused. D-ECHO's file contains airport data. Mine contains navaid data. Each must go into the correct folder.

Here is a more accurate navaid file. I missed a VOR and the glideslope threshold altitudes were about 40' too low.

Hi Tim,
nice work!
Would you like me to include your work (of course mentioning you as the author) in the repository, so that users don't need to download two custom sceneries?

Excellent idea! Get the latest zip file. I just updated it an hour ago.

Spent this morning shooting ILS approaches to Istanbul.

@D-ECHO: Was it you who asked about my Twin Otter engine upgrade?

Here it is. About 140MB. It is what I use to build and test the ILS navaids.
http://www.prolectron.com/flightgear/dhc6p.zip
It will coexist with other dhc6 models (hopefully). Normally, it is a dhc6 folder. This version is a dhc6p folder.
It will show up in your aircraft list as a DHC6-300+

If you want the landing lights to work, needs ALS,
Menu -> Rendering options -> custom shader -> shader effects -> Landmass to max (or close)

Hello and sorry for the late feedback. Now it´s working with the airpirt LTFM. I think the buildings and so on is a sperate software pack, is that right and it´possible to donwload the airport when available ? Thanks in advance.

yes, you need to visit the URL from D-ECHO's post on page one... i've linked his post here -> https://forum.flightgear.org/viewtopic.php?p=357324#p357324
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I have all D-ECHO's stuff installed for Istanbul, and there are no buildings.

As far as I am aware, D-ECHO built the scenery from the scenery pack I provided to him that I got from X-Plane. If there were no buildings in there, then no buildings in the scenery.

No problem - use UFO and add some objects. Scenery will be much more realistic with only shared models than only empty concrete surface.
Fly high, fly fast - fly Concorde !
