@eatdirt what the heck happened there? Did you actually launch two boosters and no Shuttle (I didn't know that was even possible) or did you loose the Shuttle early on? Spectacular show at any rate!

Today, the most relevant part of the flight was...landing! YES!!!!!!!!! At last :)

By the way, I've read on the wiki that the ARA 63 should provide guidance, any idea how to make it work? (Switch is on in the cockpit!)

Cheers,
Chris.

@wayne
The Shuttle blew-up soon after ignition, from the outside view it looks like it was trying to fly horizontally. This was during my exhaustive tests on 2019.2, in which I was removing the whole .fgfs/ directory at each start. But it may not be related to the various bugs we are chasing on the mailing list.

We have indeed 2 other minor issues:
1) I had the pedals and 2 joysticks connected, so if they were not trimmed to 0, that's expected
2) I am using the lego's scenery for florida, and if you start on pad 39A (or 39B, I don't remember), the one on which there is this concrete structure to deflect the engine jets, the Shuttle and launch pad actually appears before the concrete structure, which means that at ignition time, the launch pad is actually within the concrete structure and starts wobbling around, that's usually enough to blew up a launch (dunno if others have spotted this). Anyway, that should be easy to solve minor issues.

Ah - the joy of carrier ops 8)

Try Truman for a really good experience - in addition to being far more detailed, you can also have wave motion.

I wasn't able to do the FGUK flight night last night so I ran the route this morning in the F-20 - beautiful scenery:
