It works just fine for me here. What do you mean by 'won't start' ? FlightGear not starting or the engine of the aircraft not starting?

The engine of the plane. Switch activates but engine doesn't turn over. I've reset FG several times and used both versions of the plane.

It works for me:
1) Bat switch on
2) Magnetos to BOTH
3) Mixture rich
4) throttle quarter of the way up
5) start hold it till key works

Kind Regards,
Josh

It use to work fine for me. I will try again. Although it appears I've loaded latest update. I still get the red writing saying I need to still download.

Several months ago. I downloaded the first update about a week or so ago. I assume it contained upgrades as Josh had been discussing then a red message appeared yesterday so I downloaded another version.

As for the starting I know what happened, when the plane loads in sim normally it has a choice of how you want to start. When the red message appears you just have the option to 'do it later'. I then discovered in the Control Panel the Battery Switch wasn't checked. So now I know.

How do I remove previous versions of this plane. I now have 3 in my downloaded planes but because I used link provided to update there is no Uninstall button. For some reason If I reset to go to a different airport it seems to then select the previous non updated version with the red writing and download button. This means I have to start all over again by just ignoring downlaod.

Deleting the folder manually in your favourite file manager (e.g. Windows Explorer) should work ;)

You could also use git - that would avoid having to redownload it every time!

I've looked at the Git thing and it seems way to complicated for me. There are so many downloads.

It looks complicated because it can do much. But for what you need to use it for it is a couple of menu selections whenever you want to update your aircraft (repository). In the long run it is way less complicated than deleting or managing in any way your aircraft folders to keep up with the current development.

You misunderstand. I know how to get there it's just say I was wanting to update Josh'd IDG-28 when you get to his page there sometimes 10 + links and I have no idea which one would be the right one to download. This is what I mean https://github.com/Octal450/IDG-PA28

I think that's the point, knowing what updates are required on Josh's page they are not even in any specific time frame order and the explanatory text doesn't mean much to me.

I have NO IDEA what you are saying or talking. It works for me and my testers - so I suggest you make a video. :)
