Hello,

I can't hear any engine sound from outside (helicopter, chase etc.) views, from inside is OK. FlightGear is 2019.1.2.

Kind regards.

Hi,
What revision are you on? I am fairly sure that was fixed a long time ago?

SORRY YANFIZ!
We forgot to bump the revision number with the soundfix merge - so you never saw the update prompt... go ahead and update to 4805 and it should be fixed.

Kind Regards,
Josh

I've downloaded and installed 4805. Thank you very much for your efforts and supports.

But, my problem is probably involved with A320-271N and A320-251N.

I've tested A320-232, A320-111 and A320-214. They don't have the same issue.

During starting engine (manual or automatic), there is sound from outside. As soon as engines are started, sound is fading out and becomes silence.

(By the way, cabin shaking and shaking sounds until taking off, are legend!)

Yanfiz, Thanks for that information.

Would you please open an issue here: https://github.com/Octal450/IDG-A32X/issues/new that we can address this quickly and very better?

Thanks!

OE-LML:
SORRY! I totally forgot to answer you. Irregardless:

But DME readings for ILS would be really handy.

On the way, yes.

BTW I'm struggling a bit with doing go arounds ...
At which speed should you perform the initial climb when going around? V_REF??
Because when I initiate the GA and push throttle forward to TOGA, the airspeed value in AP SPD window changes to current airspeed. So the FD makes me climb with that speed.
Another thing I spotted is, that the climb doesn't stop at the selected altitude (like it would after normal take off and departure).

I think that is what the real bus does. I'll have to check all that when I rework the FMGS.
The only thing I am not sure about is whether it should stop at selected altitude or not. I will look into this.\

Kind Regards,
Josh

Yes, it should stop at selected alt.

You check the Missed Approach altitude when you do the final approach check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqWtFhxRb3s&t=447 (A330)

That doesn't ensure it stops at altitude... I'll have to check FCOM.

That just shows a checklist. Don't make assumptions.

See DSC-22_30-80-40 P 1/2

on GA, SRS is active...

The SRS mode disengages:
Automatically, at the Go-around acceleration altitude (GA ACC ALT), or if ALT* mode engages
(above 400 ft RA)

And ALT* is capturing the selected ALT

Why do you even have a list for such things? Just write: "Check with FCOM"
THen go through the FCOM from top to bottom and fix what's wrong.

You were the one who checked the FCOM, not me. I have things to do first.

So now that I know what I need to do, it's on my list of things to actually do.

Why do you feel the need to criticize everyone who's methods you don't agree with? That just makes unnessesary noise.

Kind Regards,
Josh
