SA-315B Tailrotor

It's missing! The tail rotor, that is.

Lovely model apart from that and a delight to fly.

FG 2018.3.1 So I don't think it's me...

Where did you loose it. Those classic tail rotors are expensive you know.

I found what might be the cause though. If you are on a non windows version of FG, there is a Case issue in the path to the tailrotor file.
Easy to fix yourself and I have my one fixed so the next release ( when ever that may be ) will be fixed from the start.

Open the Choppers Folder/Models directory.
edit the file SA-315B-Lama.xml with a text editor
Look for the following line ( line 491 in my editor ):-
<path>Aircraft/SA-315B-Lama/Models/TailRotor/tailrotor.xml</path>
Change this line to :-
<path>Aircraft/SA-315B-Lama/Models/tailrotor/tailrotor.xml</path>

That should fix it.

Glad you like it. Its quite fun, right up until it tries to kill you.

Ooh, could another typo be responsible for the blurred main rotor not animating in playback?
I mention this because everything else is animated from the swash plate up and the non-blurred rotor isanimated during playback...

more likely the flight recorder is not actually recording it.
Just checked, its not. That's added to the To Do list for it.
