How to make a livery for the 747-200?

The 747-200 doen't contain the simple PNG and XML system to make a livery. Can someone tell me how to create a livery?

What do you mean with editor? Can you give examples?

Such as GIMP, Photoshop, or even MS Paint (not really reccomended - it doesn't have layer support)l

Well i use for making liveries Paint.net and Paint 3D but i also have GIMP if it's necessary.

So far as I know, most FG aircraft use a GIMP .xcf file for a paintkit. (can be wrong) The 747-400 and -8 have paintkits that are .xcf files, but the -200 would need to be remapped in order to repaint.... Prestes had a 747-200 model he was working on with a paintkit but it's been a long while, and perhaps was abandoned....(?) (I don't really know....)
