Just in case you're not aware of this: A few years back I analysed a number of RTO videos and consulted flight manuals, the summary of which is available here:

http://wiki.flightgear.org/Airliner_brake_performance

Bottom line: max manual braking -- as in rejected take-off -- gets you 3-4 m/s^2 deceleration. Being able to stop from 180 kts in 700 m is 6.1 m/s^2 deceleration -- way too strong.

I am aware of that, and it shouldn't be possible anymore with the most recent FGaddon version because of the modifications I made. That's why I asked if V12 was using the most recent version.

@V12 use svn or else ensure you are using the correct hangar - you want to see this in your launcher:

lego :
Yes, I have active fgaddon hangar.

Enjoy,

I hope, I have latest version of 777, I downloaded it via launcher yesterday. It took 45 minutes, download was insane slow. And I used manual brake, not automatic. Today I will try record video of that strange pitch behaviour. It is very similar to Citation X discussed some weeks ago. If it is caused by YASIM, OK, I know from other threads that JSBSIM is far better and far accurate.
In any case, this 777 is much better than old version. Full featured MCDU will be next big step forward.

If 777-fbw.xml exists and is 1448 lines long you have the latest version.

It can't be similar to the citation X because the control system overrides. So please check if you have the fbw file or not.
2 days ago I noticed when downloading from launcher it didn't give the latest. I don't know why because I merged into 2018.3.

@V12
Try from my git, it's latest version mirrored there before you record your video.

Kind Regards,
Josh

I performed short test flight around LZIB. Video is not needed, yesterday downloaded FGADDON version is not latest.
Today I downloaded plane from octal450's git and this is absolutly another aircraft than from FGADDON ! Realistic brake performance, very good FBW, no pitch bug etc. I must contact my customer and on his PC make some tests with PMDG777 for comparison, IMHO, roll and pitch rate on FG777 is bit large.
Perfect work, probably maximum, what YASIM allows.

Glad you liked it!

Roll rate I can't really do nothing about, since when the roll axis in the 777 is fairly direct, not like Airbus.
Pitch rate I can modify, but I checked it as close that I could

Kind Regards,
Josh

Probably the fgaddon hangar catalog is only updated every few days. Fgaddon certainly has the last version. Does the catalog have a time or date stamp?

Glad to hear that it was indeed an outdated version. I think there's indeed some delay with the hangar, best to ask Torsten how it exactly works, I don't know if he follows this topic.

Open up http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/flightgear/ftp/Aircraft-trunk/ in your browser and you see the time stamps of every aircraft in the trunk hangar.
Also for the 2018 hangar http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/flightgear/ftp/Aircraft-2018/.
In both repos the 777 is from 12th of May evening.

For info - 777-fbw.xml in octal450's git repo has commit date 2019-05-13. It is newer than in in trunk hangar with date 2019-05-12

For info second edition :
I tested PMDG 777 roll and pitch rate, our FG 777 is very close, almost identical.

I don't know why the commit dates are different. Latest is in FGAddon.

Good to hear! Then I did my job correctly.
