Citation II cockpit blank

Postby rfresh737 » Sat Mar 09, 2019 8:35 pm

I installed the Citation II aircraft (I am a Citation II/V SIC pilot). When I go to fly, the cockpit is about 80% blank. I can scroll around and see the top part and the bottom part. But nothing in between.

Thanks for any help.

Thats odd. The Citation II/SP (C550/C551) doesn't reveive a update in the last 6 month and all works.
I have now taken a fresh installed from FGaddon (stable_2018).

Some people have problems with ATI/AMD grafic cards.
Some also with nVidia if they have the latest driver (only Windows).
Please post a scrennshot. Eventually some Windows user know the problem and can help.

Looks for me as you are in water.
Make sure you have turned on TerraSync or start at a location where you have the scenery (like PHNL).

Yes, I discovered I am in water. I set Los Angeles (KLAX) and was just barely above the water. I set Salt Lake City (KSLC) as that is several thousand feet up but the Citation was still have way covered in water. See below.

That happens if you dont have the scenery.
In the launcher go to 'Settings' and activate 'Download scenery automatically'.
Per default, only Hawaii is included with FG.

Hi and welcome!

Glad that worked out. Always nice to have real pilots fly our aircraft :-) Please feel free to share your experiences with the Citation in FlightGear so we all can learn and possibly improve the simulation even more. Enjoy!

Cheers,
Gijs
