An impression of the lunar eclipse this morning.

I actually ended up being out at 6 am in -23 degrees C filming the whole thing... which was miserably cold...

Nice shot, looks very impressive - it was rather too late AND too early here to see it!

Apparently it came out quote a bit more red for you. I've been expecting that, but it actually was really dark with just a hint of red...

Yeah, we got it in totality. almost straight up, unfortunately my camera wouldn't auto-focus at that stage. We got a bit of haze at that point and I guess It couldn't reconcile what it was seeing. The manual focus is a zoom type focus and I couldn't see anything to be able to get it in focus.

The temperature was i the teens (f) with a breeze. A far cry from -9, but I know what you mean by miserably cold.

Still, I am happy I got the shots I did.

Hi,

I couldn't miss it!

I had it right in front of me when I drove to work yesterday during circa 40 min along 50 km.

I couldn't stop to get photos... unfortunately.

Regards.

This is an instagram link to a movie so it may not work for people who don't have an instagram account, but worth checking out if you do:
