Hi OE-LML,

Whats happen if you open your web browser and go to https://dream.t3r.de/fgscenery/ ?
Is there also a problem with SSL ?
Should not, because the certificate is from Let's Encrypt and should allready be in your certificate storage.

Another idea: have you a desktop firewall? Is it cofigured correctly for https?

If you are using Windows 7 you need SHA-2 which SHA-256 is part of. Please check that you have KB3033929 & KB2921916.

Hallo!

@ WoodSTokk:
Seas! :D
The link opens properly like the ukmirror-link.
The firewall is managed by my AV software. If a connection etc. is blocked, I'm being advised and a note appears in the reports.
But nothing did pop up and nothing shows up in the reports.

@ portreekid:
I don't have those 2 updates installed. :? I'm not sure, if i should really install them manually, 'cause someone wise said: "Never change a running system."
In a late 2016 and a early 2017 FG-version Terrasync worked without those updates ...

As always thx 4 your help.

PS: With another computer I did one more Traceroute of the ukmirror with a max. of 100 hops. It ended with 100, most of them were timeouts.

ummm... the entire scenery delivery system has been completely reworked and is much different than it was back then... many restrictions that existed then do not exist any more... it has been streamlined a lot and acquiring scenery is much easier than it ever was... switching to http for the delivery was a large part of this... https delivery has been added, as well, which helps with privacy... if one's system cannot use an encryption method that the server uses then they will not be able to use the delivery system... i foresee a future where http is no longer used and https is the only protocol used for ""web traffic""...

that simply means that the destination system is not responding to the ICMP messages... nothing more...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
