There is no single "best" aircraft, it's all largely a matter of taste and preference. A very personal selection:

GA:

- Cessna 172p
- Piper PA-28
- Seneca II (twin engine)

Short haul turboprop:

- Beech 1900d
- Q400

Short haul jets:

- A320 (the IDX version)
- 737

Long haul:

- 777

Bonus (won't fit any of these categories, but somewhat similar, and too nice to not mention):

- DHC-6
- DC-3

I agree, there is no best aircraft, everything is subjective, nice choices btw.

@tdammers, you mentioned the 737. Would you mind sharing which version do you use and from which repository? I'm actually searching for a good model for this A/C. Thanks!

This one is pretty good: https://github.com/legoboyvdlp/737-800

There are a few other forks on github, and I bet even more outside of github, but this is the newest one I know of.

This one has a better cockpit, I think:

Thanks, but I forgot to precise I was looking more at a -200 or -300. Any idea?

Is beta version and very big download, but try this: https://github.com/abassign/G91-R1B_HD.git

Attention, fly only with the FGFS 2018.4 (or 2019.1 ...)
