Flightgear NAV instruments (VOR/DME) in Phi

Postby mickc » Wed Dec 05, 2018 8:32 pm

Have searched at length for Phi implementations for NAV instruments (VOR/DME) etc.

Please could someone point me in the right direction?

Might just need a Phi equivalent for:-

Probably the easiest way is to animate a SVG.
- Paint your instrument as SVG
- bind the moving svg elements to flightgear properties using knockout.js

Maybe Phi/widgets/efis.svg can serve as an example?

Thanks, Torsten.

I'm slightly surprised nobody has done this already, but I'm certainly prepared to give it a go.
I just didn't want to be re-inventing the wheel, so to speak.

Cheers!
