List of Improved Airports in FlightGear

Postby statto » Sun Apr 19, 2009 7:31 pm

Here are a list of airports by my count which are improved in FlightGear AND represented in the Scenery Model Database. Improved means the addition of building scenery in the vicinity of the airport and an accurate taxiway layout. Airports with an asterisk only contain basic improvements, such as a single building, or untextured buildings.

Airports in italics are confirmed in development.

If you count an airport with signs and positioned generic buildings as "improved", you can add
ESGP* - Göteborg City Airport, Göteborg, Sweden
to the list.

Cheers,

Anders

Are you certain you don't mix this with EDVE (Braunschweig), which is not that far from Hannover ? As far as my memory serves, we never had 3D models for EDDV - yet I'd be happy to have some ....

Have the models for EPSC - Goleniów Airport been submitted to the Database yet?

By the way, good thread, I think it deserves a sticky at the top of the forum? :)

Updated. I tried to verify the missing airports to the database. Let me know if I missed any others.

No it was definitely Hannover, I can't remember where it came from, maybe the same place I got Bremen from.

I do remember that it did not have complete textures, but did have a helipad and a few static aircraft.
I have been going through my old FlightGear stuff but can't find it :(

This list is specifically for airports which are in the database. None of that fancy-pancy third party stuff. ;)

As far as I can tell we don't have any models at neither of them. Are you certain that these had ever been submitted ?
