Anyone know the whereabouts of a Cessna 180 for FlightGear?

i've never heard of one in the time i've been here...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I haven't seen one. I am potentially wanting to develop one though.

Oh, that would be fun. If you need textures, sounds or some sloppy coding, do let me know :D

That's a ridiculously short take off.

@gsagostinho, I don't know if you were joking or not paying that close attention. It actually was the opposite of short. The aircraft was loaded heavy and had to run a long way before it could get airborne. It even had to make corners in the river at high speeds while trying to get enough speed to lift off.

I thought it was insane how long it actually took.

If you crank up the volume you can hear the stall horn as it bounces. Our model does the same thing. Love it.

It's definitely option 2. I thought the pilot took off very quickly and was flying very low until they start to climb in the end of the video. Now that you wrote that I realize he never took off until the very end. That's really insane!

I would love to see a 180 on floats. Let me know if you need help with development.
