the problem with that described scenario is how long does it take to go around the robin? users are not known to wait... all i'm suggesting is an option... not editing the list... letting the user force the one you know works for them... yes, it defeats that purpose but it is very useful when you can't get scenery from any server except one or two...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Currently there are only 2-3 Servers active. So it won't take too long. Depends on what Problem the connection has.

Hi portreekid, I think I own you some very good apologies.

I was deeply mistaken about you and your attitude with TerraMaster,
Just finished reading almost 15 pages of this thread and oh boy, how mistaken I was.

You sir, indeed have been puting time and effort in TerraMaster and indeed it has been drastically improving overtime.

Also, I saw other people, in this very thread, with issues regarding the ALL log level. I would like to say that I am investigating the issue myself and will provide a solution if I find one.

So, I'd like to publicly say, sorry, I was immensely mistaken.
And about my foul language. I could say I'm sorry about it. But that's what I am at the moment due to a number of life/medical/neurological conditions and unfortunately I will not be improving that quickly.

To the FlightGear community, I will try to moderate myself, I let it all out for some reason in the past couple of weeks.

portreekid, please continue the amazing work on TerraMaster!

Thanks for apology. I don't plan on dropping the support any time soon. As I said I use it. TerraMaster should build out of the box with maven.

I have just released a new Update. 2.01 fixes the reported bug that Airports weren't synced to the right directory structure.

Good timing, terrasync stopped working for me and I'm not the only one because people were messaging me for a solution. I have your new version running right now. If you remember i could only use SVN before but I've made some changes with the ISP and all is working well so far. The only thing that can go wrong is I may run out of HDD space. Time to give Linux more space i think.

I may have overdone the amount of tiles to download because it got to 100% and got stuck there but didn't download many tiles. They stayed highlighted blue. in the past when it failed they un-highlighted. I did try some smaller areas, less tiles and it worked fine. Maybe the ISP lost connection temporally. I don't know. FYI I cloned directly from github so I don't know if that was how I should get or if you have another place with a (stable version). Of course you could have dev branches. I didn't look.

Room for improvement then. When downloading it marks servers it can't reach as dead. So it might run out if you loose connection. For long downloads it would be wise to retry.

Sorry to be dumb, but how do I open the terramaster-2.03.jar file? I have created a shortcut and set java to open the file but I keep getting the file not running or being recognised. Any help much appreciated.

Which OS? Some OS a double click is sufficient. On the command line a java -jar TerraMaster.jar should start it.

If Java is installed correctly the jar should start by clicking on it. Can’t remember where the log is written. Which Java version?

Is the directory writeable? That's where the ini is written. I just tried it directly from the download directory and all was fine
