Submit your candidate for the July SOTM!

Postby legoboyvdlp » Wed Jul 04, 2018 12:30 pm

Hello Pilots! :D

Now's your chance to submit your candidate for July's FlightGear SOTM contest!

Participation Rules
15 entries (because a poll can only have 15 options)
Only one entry per person to give everyone a fair chance of submitting a screenshot.
You may enter one extra for somebody else. This person of course can submit their own candidate.
If you submit a screenshot of another person, please make sure he/she grants you the right to publish it under the correct license!
Please convert your picture from png to jpg (plenty of converters online).
Must be taken with FlightGear.
Every picture should have a caption. Please limit yourself to about five words!
Please add the name of the aircraft and the location where the screenshot was taken to your entry (not necessarily to be mentioned in the caption).
Screenshots must not be post-processed except from cropping and/or resizing (but you may use the in-sim ALS filters).
You may change your entry as often as you want, until the voting starts.
You agree to license your screenshot under the CC-BY-SA 4.0 license for publication by the FlightGear project.
You agree that the screenshot may be used to promote the FlightGear project, including publication on the flightsim.com forum with proper attribution according to the CC-BY-SA 4.0 license --> new rule!

Voting will start when 15 entries are reached or at the latest on July 25th, in a separate topic.

Cheers ;)

i see all seven posted pictures with no problems...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

@Catalanoic: The FGUK server seemed to be a little laggy yesterday, so StuartC's screenshot took a minute or two to load for me. I guess that was the issue.
