VatSim FG 2018.2.2

I've been exerimenting with connection to the VatSim network. This was working fine with FG 2017.

After upgrading to FG 2018 , the connection still works ok but instead of the aircraft being located at the current airport location, VatSim map is showing it somewhere in the Pacific ocean.

possibly one of two things?

1. lat and long are reversed
OR
2. positive and negative are reversed
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Is that a FG bug?

Seems that there is little interest for FG compatibility with VatSim.

Well I'd really like to know if this is FG issue with 2018. I never had this problem with 2017.

Sound quality is pretty bad anyway.
I don't think FG is WatSIm friendly

Hello, how have you configured FG to work with Vatsim? I'd like to have it too, but can't find any information how to do it. Please help.

I did some VATSIM flights Friday and today with FG 2018.2.2 and didn't have any issues. Did you copy all the necessary protocol files and properties after updating?
