Not from that terse description.

Please supply more information (error message, log file, some of your data like OS and hardware,...)

i have requested a moderator to move this topic to Support->Installation where it is more on topic since the query is about installing and executing and not related at all to flying... plus it should also provide the pink box with the detail questions we need to provide a more complete answer ;)
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I downloaded 2018.2.1 last night. This morning when I tried to run the executable, Windows 10 said this 3rd party app is not safe to run and it halted the request. So then I tried to run the .exe as administrator. It said it was unable to verify if the file was safe to run, and asked me if I wanted to proceed. I said yes, and everything installed just fine.
