"On approach" start state

Postby camileck » Thu May 10, 2018 7:11 am

I have noticed there is a new feature in 2018.1 - start mode (parked, cruise, on approach). Tried the "on approach" with c172p but FG starts with aircraft parked on runway exactly like when using parked mode. I practise landings using my custom start options, but just wanted to give it a try. Is it sth wrong with my installation or I am not the only one affected?

Sorry, it hasn't been implemented in the c172p yet.

these "start states" are a very new feature... it is unlikely that any craft have them implemented yet... the C172P will probably be (one of) the first since it is the initial craft that folks new to FG will see...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I think the c182s has state support.
