emb 170 family's nav sys very buggy?

Postby DTWFlyer » Sun Apr 08, 2018 3:17 am

hi all. was running a shuttle hop from cincinnati to detroit on a e175, enabled AP and nav, and plane just sorta gently wanders off course after reaching a new waypoint?

i know it's an old plane, but is there possibly a newer version w/o this? or is this just a bug?
turns are also REALLY exaggerated.

help appreciated for a noob flier.

I'm wondering if Omega didn't use magnetic heading instead of true or vice-versa?

Anyway, where did you download this aircraft from?
It sounds like the autopilot needs tuning, badly :)

if the craft has been modified "over there" and is different than the one in the official hanger, then you need to talk to those maintainers of that craft "over there"

things like this can easily get worse with craft being wantonly split and forked all over the place :(
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
