you don't have to fly on vatsim to know these things... one can easily just observe and see it ;)

agreed, everybody happy with his own approach to aviation.

FG is meant to be a "simulation", not a "game". That's why developers try to match real life aviation as faithfully as possible (FDM, weather, textures, scenery aso.). Why should the actual flying in a MP environment not be as realistic as achievable? If I could not use VATSIM anymore with FG I'd instantly quit FG and switch to xplane or P3d, no doubt. Btw, FG will only attract more interest by former FSX users if the VATSIM access/the hardware interfacing/the multi monitor setup becomes more intuitive.
