You'd think Airbus would allow the LOC button to do this, but its for LOC only approachs.

Help: Whenever I pushback, I tip backwards and pushback stops?

Solution?

@V12

That is just to setup the VOR indicator on the ND, so that you can track the VOR manually with heading. However do note that RNAV (GNSS) approaches are favored over an VOR approach in the A320. (It will fly the VOR approach like an RNAV anyways).

sounds like you need to adjust the weight distribution of your cargo and passengers and put more weight in the nose of the craft...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I downloaded latest A32x. Started FG, used A/C config with Ready to T/O option, all systems started normaly. Then I entered depart runway, SID, destination airport, approach and STAR, then activated flightplan. Speed to 165, altitude 15000 feets. After that flaps to full, then released parking brake, full throttle and successfully takeoff. Moved throttle to SPEED position, activated A/P, switched heading to the managed mode, but A/P doesn't follow flightplan. What I forgetting ? Where is error ? Previous version followed flightplan without any problems.

Solved. After laptop restart all works flawless. Aircraft perfectly follow route - for example NZQN 05 SID ANPO3

Can't tell what's going on with your NAV display. lol

Glad it's working well now.

Kind Regards,
Josh

PS: Aghhhh! Don't use V/S! Use OP CLB/OP DES! (PULL Altitude Knob). Don't understand why FG pilots use V/S so excessively. It's almost never used for climbs, rarely for descent.
PSS: FULL Flaps NEVER for takeoff... too much drag... use 3 at most. Most of the time 1+F or 2

In the real world V/S is used quite a lot to maintain a continious descend (if not on managed). This way the aircraft does not have to level off the whole time, and this makes the ride more comfortable.

Indeed. It's not unusual to have "maintain x rate of descent/climb" or "maintain best rate of descent/climb" issued by ATC and then managed/op modes flies out the window.

I meant, in FG here, where there is no ATC telling you to do this.

Also, even in VATSIM, I have never been told such an instruction.

I mentioned it because for some reason, FG pilots always use V/S on airliners... I don't know where that info comes from, or why they always use it. There are times to use it, but in most situations, OP CLB/OP DES is the way to go (managed is coded partially, but I've disabled that part of the Autopilot until I get it done)

Kind Regards,
Josh

It is very nice SID procedure ANPOV 1A for rwy 05 at Queenstown :

As You can see, there is rated climb rate 290 ft / NM, I used V/S autopilot mode.
