TerraSync: used to download on the fly, doesn't work for everyone, you need a good internet connection, and it may load in too late. Therefore, I do not recommend this.
TerraMaster: a way to download the same scenery in TerraSync, however before you fly (features a nice globe map where you can select what you want).
World Scenery: download 10x10 tiles, and install before flight, this is also the same scenery as in TerraSync.
TerraGit: newer scenery than TerraSync, BUT elevation bugs in quite a few places (looks bad, doesn't interfere with flight). TerraGit does feature some airports which look better, BUT on some places there is a lot of static aircraft, and TerraGit adds weird parking lines on each stand, which can look weird with the actuall scenery used (aswell as they add jetway heads, which look weird aswell). (This scenery is not part of the official FlightGear project, but part of the FGmembers hangar/thing). TerraGit is download via GIT.
Single airport/region: various smaller scenery can be found in third part hangars, which look better than the default one in TerraSync or TerraGit.
Conclusion: If you want the best of everything, take the normal TerraSync scenery, then add the airports from TerraGit/third party hangars.
However, be advised that FG scenery is nowhere on par with the current industry standard, thus don't be dissapointed.
