Gabriel, could you turn the reflections down a bit perhaps? Have never seen clouds reflected in a 737 wing yet :P

Otherwise it looks excellent!

I tested that bird 2 or 3 days ago. Very nice. But reaction on the rudder is too fast and strong. It looks like the plane has moment of inertia in the vertical axis almost zero, or rudder efficiency is too large. IMHO, 3 months ago model flown better than now.

ok lego, I will.

@V12, The new version 1.0 will have new FDM, I will review that again and try to fix that as best as possible. 3 months ago you had nothing of what you have now, especially the ap and its new systems among many other things. the fdm has not been touched in a long time and remains the same, only with touch-ups on the ailerons, flaps and spoiler, the rest is the same, So, I'm going to fix that problem, well I'll try. What's wrong with the FDM? Soitanen did a good job with it so far.

The only thing which is not right is lift has some minor problems with stalling and such.

Rudder is sensitive like on the small Cessna.

Do you have data to show how it should react? You can't build an FDM on "I think".

I know, I can't build FDM on "I think" without aerodynamic data. But I'm sure, I can't set rudder behaviour of 79 tons 737 like 1 ton Cessna.

Are not you going to fly a plane for the simple fact that the rudder is very sensitive according to you? the rudder will fix it and it will be available on Sunday when version 1.0 arrives so, calm and do not judge a plane by the rudder, for me and others the rudder is fine, not as sensitive as a cessna, do not be exaggerated.

I found some data for the 738 flight rudder. I'll check it sometime.

I made short flights with 737-800YV and IDG A320 around LZIB for test rudder responses. A320's reactions are perfect smooth, without any jerks. When Boeing will react on rudder input similar to A320, I will be 100% satisfied. Yes, I know, Airbus uses FBW, Boeing old school cables, some diferences must be here.

My Airbus' limit rudder deflection as per this curve:
Image

Then, that deflection has the Rudder Aerodynamic response. So, try the rudder below 160kts, to see it's true response, as above there, he is limited by the system.

Or, turn off the FACs on the overhead, then do 210kts with Flaps 1 (not 1+F, just 1 is slats only).

Kind Regards,
Josh

Not that version, that version looks 2 months or more old.... try the newest before you say the rudder is good -- major FDM changes since then.
