Search a mapserver

Postby flydaddit » Thu Nov 02, 2017 7:45 pm

Hello,

I create and publish some airport on x-plane but they are not in flightgear, LFCA, LFDW, LFBI and I am on LFPT and LFPA now.
When mapserver.flightgear.org was here I have used it to create my airport with terragear.
During a few time mapserver.mgras.net was here but it is closed now.

Do anyone know an alternative to download shapes for terragear ?

Thank a lot for your answers.

Hi,
here's a list of shapes you could use:

Note that you will have to use a geographic information system application, such as QGIS, to clip and (in the case of the CORINE data) split the layers into the single shapefiles that you can use in TerraGear.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

In first I have downloaded IDF zip shaped files from Geofabrik, and Metro, Land polygons from OpenStreetMapData and Europe from VMap0.
In can't download from Copernicus because I don't receive the mail with the password.
In second I'll look at QGIS.
Big deal for the weekend.
