Sightseeing world tour long houl flight

Postby PavlinSierra » Thu Aug 03, 2017 11:46 am

Hello, Pilots!
Let's see - is someone in mood for something bigger than OMDB-NZAA???
See this link:
https://skyvector.com/?ll=1.9859303581201564,80.20898437855865&chart=304&zoom=14&fpl=N0270F410%20NZAA%20NZWR%20IGLET%20CREDY%20YBMK%20YBHM%20FOLOT%20MABIX%20SUPSA%20KABSO%20APANO%20OPKC%20LATEM%20MCT%20OMSJ%20OMAD%20OMAJ%20OTBD

Now, i know is huge!

If someone interested - 12.08. UTC: 16:00 Zulu.
At NZAA. Lets try it!
It is not necessarry to do the full flight without stop. We can stop on some airports. That's why I was add them to the map.

I do not have still screenshots of the airprots.
Soon I will post more information.

Do you intend to do it all without sleeping? That's a long way, but it's no good to turn it on, go to sleep, then land.

Perhops. I was thinking to stop on 2 airports - on Malaasia and in India. WAPF for example and VCRI. Waypoints from the route near to them . Also on Karachi also, may be. It can take day and half, I think. It is not necessarry.

Now, Dear pilots,
There is some updates - I propose to stop on 3 places with this event. For beguining we can fly to YBHM airport. The way from NZAA to there is 2 hours, even smaller. Than we can try our VFR scills with landing at WASK or WABI airport. I propose the second one - there was un error with the WASK RWY, lot of water was on it and it was only RWY. So, it can be hurch to land than takeoff there. At WABI there is a terminal. And 1 RWY. It is better. Next, we can land on VCBI , with has ILS app and landing RWY's! Or WSSS, But I do not recommend it, because some times is making bank angles duing landing on ILS settings and the LOC is somewhere in left not on the center line. This parts are on 2 r 1 and half from each other stops. So, Marathon- marathon. Nice views btw, here some screenshots from WABI airport:

Right now, as I am writing this post I fly next - I depart WABI and going to continue the route with the next waypoint, witch is MABIX. Than landing at VCBI The part is 6 hours active flying. So, it is big.

Thank's. Well, I do it! And I will again! This will be 1 hour video also.It is a beautiful sightseeing tour, with custom route. And more inmportant - we can stop whatever we want, we can fly over beautiful places around the globe! And also we can sleep thru the flight. Not a big deal!
