Sorry, I'm done temporarily.

I just want to send a personal thanks to IAHM-COL, KL-666, SkyBoat, ph-cor, J Maverick 16, GabrielYV, legoboyvdlp, pakistan-1, Falcon (N3266G), aiunnizzi99, and a few others for the support, help, and fun times.

Regards,
Josh

this makes absolutely no sense :(
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Lost access to the other account out of anger. If an admin can reset the email or password, I don't have either.

Bottom line:
I have personal issues in my life right now, and I'm tired of the drama of all the battles/trolls in FGFS, and people complaining about missing features in my planes. I just can't take that stress right now.

If you need to contact me, see my personal wiki page.

Planewise, all my software is GPL v2 or v3 compliant, except the MD-88 and MD-90, which is CC "BY-NC-SA"

Regards,
Josh

and people complaining about missing features in my planes

Ah... that seems to be the way of things. And even if you add all features, you'll get someone else complaining that now it's too complicated and no one can fly it any more.

The trick is to do it for you - create the plane you like to fly, and go enjoy it, and tell whoever wants an additional feature that it's GPL and he can go do it himself.

Indeed, and it can be frustrating at times. I once spent quite some time getting a nice parachute opening animation where it really looks like the little drag chute pulls out the main chute and when deployed it moves with the wind. The first response I got was: these little drag chutes should not move with the wind once fully deployed since they fold back on most cases. Great but the fold-back is almost impossible to animate.

Not any longer... the chute shader should be able to do that.

My advise, do your own thing, create the aircraft you want to use, and treat wishlists as just personal opinions. You can't make everyone happy, that applies to life in general.

Thanks for the support.

I'm actually surprised at the amount of support I've got recently. I may not quit completely.
If I decide to stay a little, I will probably only work on 1 or 2 or maybe 3 planes, college is getting closer and closer, and I won't have alot of time. Plus I have personal issues to resolve.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Good luck with the personal issues, I hope they turn out alright.

+1 to that - I've been in the same boat lately (I've got a long list of improvements I would like to work on, but I can work of them only on weekends, and some patches take even several weeks to be complete!).

I would also suggest you to take care of yourself first. If there is still some time left, and you wish to devote it (in part) to FG, work in small increments, one task at a time.
