Boeing C-32J "Mav Force One"

Postby J Maverick 16 » Fri Dec 09, 2016 7:58 pm

Hi all,
some time ago I decided that it was time to create a VIP plane for myself. After veeeery long discussions on Slack and polls made among FG friends and RL ones, a model and some specs were selected:
BOEING C-32J "MAV FORCE ONE"

Image

IT IS BASED OFF THE USAF C-32A variant (made from the 757-200 with the addition of winglets and special antennas) featuring the latest version of Rolls Royce' RB211-535E4 which generates 44,800 lbf each.

Image

Official production and test site was designed USAF Plant 42, Palmdale Rgnl Arpt, CA, USA (KPMD).

It's in a very alpha state, but it already features latest IT-AUTOFLIGHT version and more: https://github.com/JMaverick16/C-32J

Freshly released new liveries:

Beautiful model. Also, those extra antennae is a nice touch. :D

Hi,

Failed to load submodel: Model file not found: 'vsi.ac'
at /home/Patten/Aircraft-test/Aircraft/C-32J/Models/Instruments/VSI/VSI.xml

Flightdeck.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

<PropertyList>

<path>vsi.ac</path>

The vsi.ac is called VSI.ac in the C-32J/Models/Instruments/VSI folder.

:D

Successful maiden flight earlier for the Boeing C-32J-20, a variant of the basic model featuring P&W PW2040 engines and some different specs available to the public as VIP plane and being the Mav Force Two aircraft from now on:

Please test and report any bugs, it has just been released.

Also, me and Josh made some major improvements to the plane in general. Enjoy!

Hi, I'm the autopilot developer. Can you provide more information, or a screenshot? Thank you.

In the mean time, I will test it quickly.

Kind Regards,
Josh

C-32J now features advanced winglets which include sharklets improving fuel efficiency (need to sort out the textures yet):

In addition two new antennas have been added again to the C-32J only (one is visible in the second pic). Download link stays the same ;) .

Thanks to Leto and some hours to tweak this, finally the C-32J has some flare/chaff countermeasures!

I've recently improved all the flighdeck textures and added a new working EFB, with some other minor fixes.
